Proverbs 14: 31 He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honours God.

In our desire to honour God and help people, we established the Rivers Foundation to help the poor. Because we have a heart for the needy in our land, we created this non-profit organisation so that we have a credible channel through which we can give to the poor with total confidence. You can be assured that your gifts and contributions will be effectively and wisely used, and each year there will be tangible assets that can be visited and people whose lives have been elevated will be seen clearly.

Let’s remember that when we give to the poor we actually lend to God, and there is a great reward in it for both the poor, and for us. God loves a cheerful giver!

Collect a Can

Drop a can off at the church office or at the Foundation table before or after a weekend service. For every can we collect, R8 will be donated to us which will enable us to double the amount of food we give to the needy!

Winter Drive

We are looking to collect warm clothing and items which will be used to bless our beneficiaries this winter. If you have anything that you would be able to contribute please drop it off at the church off during the week or at one of our weekend services.
