Proverbs 14: 31 He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honours God.

In our desire to honour God and help people, we established the Rivers Foundation to help the poor and needy.  Because we have a heart for the needy in our land, we created this non-profit vehicle so that we have a credible channel where we can give to the poor with total confidence.  You can be assured that your gifts and contributions will be effectively and wisely used, and each year there will be tangible assets that can be visited and people whose lives have been elevated.

Let’s remember that when we give to the poor of our finances or volunteer service, we actually lend to God and there is a great reward in it for both the poor and for us. God loves a cheerful giver!
